« on: March 05, 2010, 12:33:09 pm »
The contest is simple.

1. Join Football For All's forum.

2. Recruit others by getting them to sign up and emailing us at FFA@FootballForAll.net with their email addresses so we can keep track of those members you recruit.
(*Note: Email all others email addresses via the same email address. Don't use different email addresses because we will credit each email address separately.)

3. Contribute as often as you can to the forum. The more you contribute, the more of a chance to win!

That's it! Each time you recruit a new member and email us their email address, your email address will be automatically added. It can be added as many times as you want and the more it is added, the higher chance it has of being pulled.

We will be drawing the first email address May 1st!! So hurry and get your friends to become members!

Members can also boost their contest chances considerably by following # 4 below.

4. And to add a little spice to the contest, we at Football For All have decided to give you the choice of jersey by joining our Social Networking site. It's free to join and you will automatically be added, by email address, to the additional drawing to get a free jersey of your choosing!!

Opinion / FFA Opinion: If Julius Peppers really signs with Washington
« on: March 04, 2010, 10:52:23 pm »
Wow talk about being careful what you wish for. Here, Julius Peppers gets an amazing offer from the Panthers who, with their new highly skilled Quarterback, could actually be a front runner for the Super Bowl next year, and he declines!

And now it is reported that he is about to reach a deal with the Washington Redskins who have just as horrible of an offense as the Panthers had last year. The Redskins just last year signed Albert Haynesworth to, what was reported, the biggest contract by defensive lineman, ever! (over 100 Million).

If the Skins really do make this deal, they sure better have fixed their defensive line to the point that the opposing QB has no time at all to throw the ball and the running backs have no holes to run through because that's a lot of money to dish out to two d-lineman.

Washington, last year, had a pretty decent defense. They need more help on offense. And I do, in my mock draft (http://footballforall.createaforum.com/joe%27s-mock-draft/joe%27s-mock-draft/), have them taking Sam Bradford, but they also need help at wide receiver and running back. Clinton Portis can't carry the entire load, they just released Cartwright, Gainther had a few good games, but who else do they have if Portis get injured or doesn't return to his previous form?

Julius Peppers is like a Randy Moss type player. He'll play extremely hard for you when the team is winning. But he disappears when you are not. Or maybe he was just sick of being in Carolina.

Regardless, Peppers could definitely find a better place to go and I'm sure there are PLENTY of teams on the Super Bowl hump that will give him a shot; even if the fire isn't there anymore.

Opinion / FFA Opinion: Release of Jake Delhomme
« on: March 04, 2010, 10:28:39 pm »
This was an impending action for many months, possible years. Jake Delhomme hasn't been that effective since his Super Bowl XXXVIII loss to the Patriots in 2004. In that game the Pats and Panthers traded punches all the way to the wire. With the Patriots coming out on top 32-29.

Since then though, his production and effectiveness have all but crumbled. In 2004 he threw for 3800 yards 29 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He's only thrown for 3000+ yards twice since, 2005 and 2008. Last year he threw for a miserable 2000+ yards with 8 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in ONLY 8 GAMES!

To say the least, he wasn't very good. And now with Matt Moore at the helm, coupled with their effective running attack, will Julius Peppers entertain re-signing with the Panthers? They did offer him 14 million a year. Stay tuned...
